THE SOLUTION

The Congress was held in two parts and structured around scientific sections with pre-recorded invited lectures and live discussions on selected topics in cardiology, original communications as an equivalent of moderated poster sections and sponsored content in the form of satellite symposiums or separate lectures.

RESULTS

13th Congress of the Croatian Cardiac Society had 1073 participants from 7 countries for the live event. It resulted in 8 days of fully interactive and dynamic programme with 120 speakers and 18 satellite symposiums that was not delayed nor interrupted for one single minute. The poster section within the EMPL platform consisted of 38 posters with the possibility of rating, commenting and asking questions to authors via chat

Sponsors and exhibitors were given the opportunity to publish their promotional materials in a virtual exhibition space within EMPL platform. They created 17 own virtual booths with video presentations and initiated real-time communications with booth visitors. The score was almost 400 booth visits.
